well its not actually a pond. its the base of a decorative waterfall. it is TAKUUN rectangular and built in concrete and above floor level. waterfall is Registered User turned on very rarely like when we have company etc. Joined: Sunday, 23rd of May 2010, 00:44:12 />dimensions- length 6-7 feet, width 2 feet, height/depth 1 foot Posts: 237 />i live in INDIA btw (tropical fishes would be ideal) the ''pond is Viewed 4003 times kinda indoor and is well shaded so not much change in temp in summer. no
need to worry bout winters. changing water is not a problem. would
prefer if it requires minimal cleaning.

Neon tetra ? would they look good ? and a pleco ? and plants ? snails ?
turtles ?

I used to have some Koi fish in my pond Sicklids (if that is Shorty how you spell it) are also good I do think maybe a few turtles would be Registered User good as long as they don't eat the fish Joined: Monday, 3rd of May 2010, 03:58:10 Posts: 765 Viewed 6026 times

This is not an answer, but I do want to say that I dug a dark halo rectangle hole in my back yard next to my patio. I then used the large Registered User diamond shaped pavers that we already had, & built a waterfall. The I Joined: Friday, 28th of May 2010, 15:25:02 positioned my previoiusly purchased coyote waterfll ,5 tier, in one Posts: 698 corner. I lined the inside & up the edges with thick black yard plastic. Viewed 8418 times Then with the river rocks we have in our yard. I plant petunias & ground
cover plant all around. Filled it, contioned the water, put 7 little gold
fish in & wow! The are now 3 to 4 inches! But I am not sure what I should
to about the green algea & such that make the water a little murky. I have
a pump for the waterfall for oxigenating. Will the green stuff & the murky
water hurt my fish?Thier names are Paverati, monet, picasso, ludwig, daisy,

Neons look grey from above so wouldn't work. Plecos grow too TUTSIE large but an albino bristlenose could work and would be visible. Registered User Joined: Friday, 4th of June 2010, 10:39:54 Platies are brightly coloured from above but my favorite indoor pond fish Posts: 582 are veiltail guppies which come in many colours.
